Life Teen is a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church that leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.

Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church. St. Patrick's Life Teen program is led by Adult Core members and College age young adults.

Saint Patrick's Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity and provides a space where teenagers can encounter God and delve deep into their faith. In a world filled with pressure to fit in, we want participants to be able to be themselves without fear of judgement. Each session deals with current issues and issues the participants may come across. We connect these issues to our faith through fun activities, leader-lead testimonies, and both big and small group discussions.

This program is open to all teenagers 13 - 18 from any parish. All youth can come and join us for any of the events we have. We would only ask new members for emergency contact and for any allergies.

Life Teen meets every Sunday from noon to 2 pm. Lunch is provided.

Steubenville NYC: BELONG

July 19 - 21, 2019

“See what love the Father has bestowed on us, that we may be called children of God.” -1 John 3:1

At the core of our being is a desire for meaningful connection and authentic relationship. We long to love and be loved, but how often do we just feel lonely?

As we search for ways to escape these feelings of isolation, there comes a small, quiet whisper that pierces through to the depths of our heart: “You are never alone, because you are Mine.”

This summer, over 50,000 Catholic teens across North America will attend one of 24 Steubenville Youth Conferences to encounter the God who calls us His sons and daughters. Come and experience His overwhelming love for you. You belong here.

NCYC 2019: blessed+broken+given

November 21 - 23, 2019

In a distinctly Catholic setting, the National Catholic Youth Conference invites participants to encounter Christ, experience church, and be empowered for discipleship.

Much more than the promotion of a series of activities for young people, this ministry consists in walking with them, accompanying them personally in the complex and at times difficult contexts in which they are immersed.
Youth ministry is called to gather the questions of young people of today and, from them, to initiate a true and honest dialogue to bring Christ into their lives.
— Pope Francis on Youth Ministry

We are seeking to form a CORE Team of young adults and adults who have a heart on fire for Christ, His Church, and for the Youth. We will train you to work with the teens!

For more information, to become a CORE Member, or to get involved, please email Brandon Ocampo, Youth Minister, at bocampo@stppcnewark.org.
